CONSTRUCTION
This oversized vest is worked flat from the top down using the Intarsia technique (mixed with stranded colorwork to reduce the number of bobbins). The back is worked first to the hem, then the shoulders are picked up and worked simultaneously but separately, until they are joined to work the front as a single piece down to the hem. Finally, the front and back are seamed along both sides, and the ribbing is added, worked in the round, at the bottom, armholes, and neck.
